Recovery Support for Teens & Young Adults

Recovery is a radically creative act, a fusion of present authenticity and future possibilities.

The skills we learn and the people we meet in recovery turn thoughts like ‘Why do I keep doing this?’ into inspiring words like ‘I did it, and I know you can too.’ No matter what you are trying to change, whether substance use or a behavior, we are here for you.

Are MEETINGS for me?

In YRCT recovery meetings, whether in-person or online, we use science-based SMART Recovery skills in conversations about cannabis/marijuana, gambling, fentanyl, vaping, social media, self-harm, alcohol, food-related behaviors and more. We uplift all recovery pathways and you’ll find many types of supports throughout our website and calendar.

You’ll hear people sharing their successes, such as attending a music festival substance-free or using coping skills after a breakup, all within a supportive community.

All are welcome—whether you’re just starting to think about making a change, or if you’ve been involved with the recovery community for years, or if you simply feel that “recovery” is the right name for your wellness journey.

Is RECOVERY for Me?

That’s for you to decide! You are the only one who decides what you are working on and why it’s a meaningful goal for you.

People attend meetings because they find hope in the recovery community, where people feel comfortable speaking about both their imperfections and their dreams. This support, and the skills we learn together, help each of us face the next day with bravery and purpose.

7 out of 10 people who ever had a substance use problem are now in recovery

The two most powerful words when we’re in struggle: ‘me too’.
